We know it is pretty late, but here we are with details regarding the Pre-meeting Tour we will organize before the meeting itself. It is planned for small group of riders. We are 6 at the moment and still can have few more, but be quick if you want to join us. We will mostly ride, but we will also visit some interesting places on the way and will enjoy the nature and typical atmosphere of the Bohemian countryside. We will have a support car with us so luggage will be transported by it and there will be a possibility to use to car to shorten the daily stage. We suppose to ride all the time together, but you are free to leave us and ride alone according to a map or GPS. We currently plan to sleep in small hotels, but a chance to sleep in a tent in campground should be possible as well.

Here is the schedule:
Saturday, 5th of September
We will welcome you in Prague, but you can come also on Sunday or Monday early morning if it is more convenient for you.
Late walk through Prague, some beers and meal in the local pub.
Sunday, 6th of September
Walk through Prague. We will see some of the most known places and also some quite hidden. The walk will be as long as we decide to have it. We can walk all the day and see quite some of the town, or we can visit more cafés and quiet parks than sights. But still, the Prague Castle, Petřínská tower, Charles Bridge deserve your interest. We will definitely visit them.
Monday, 7th of September
First day on the bike. At the moment planned for 95 km, but based on the discussion, we suppose to shorten the first part through Prague so we do not spend too much time and energy zig-zagging through the not so interested parts of the city. So total distance expected is about 85 km. We will follow the Elbe river for most of the day and then turn south to find a place to sleep in historical town called Kutná Hora. A former silver mining town with rich history and very nice and interesting cathedral with charnel-house (ossuary). Both will be visited on Tuesday.
Evening walk through the town.
Tuesday, 8th of September
We will visit the cathedral and charnel-house (ossuary) and will start for the longest stage with the supposed length of 105km. But they will be almost purely flat. We will reach the Elbe river again and once again turn south to find a place for sleep close to another historical town called Litomyšl. We expect the support car to wait for us several times on the way so one can decide to shorten the stage. (The other days the car will be available on call.) Evening walk through the town.
Wednesday, 9th of September
The shortest, but quite hilly stage with 65 kilometers. We can call it a railway stage as we will follow the most beautiful part of the Czech most important railway. It goes through nice valleys through tunnels and is followed by small roads or cycling paths.
In the afternoon, we will load the bikes to the van and will use a train to go to Uherský Brod (about two and half hours).
Official Open Ceremony of the Meeting in the evening.
